The person behind the work

Piano has always been part of my life.

I have performed as a pianist and keyboardist in bands, concerts, neighborhood events, restaurants, and community spaces. Those experiences taught me to notice the details that change how an instrument feels and speaks.

My studies in electronic music at UC Santa Cruz further developed my understanding of pitch, harmony, acoustics, and critical listening. I bring that musical background to every piano I work with.

How often should a piano be tuned? +

It depends on the instrument, environment, use, age, and condition. Pianos used for performance, teaching, or recording may need more frequent attention than lightly played home instruments.

What does regulation help with? +

Light regulation may help with keys that feel sticky, uneven, slow, or inconsistent. The piano needs to be assessed to determine whether the concern fits the service offered.

What if I do not know my piano's history? +

That is completely fine. Select “I'm not sure” and share anything you do know. The instrument can be assessed in person.

Is my requested date automatically confirmed? +

No. The form creates an appointment request. The visit is confirmed after we agree on the service, date, and time.
